How do you find interesting blogs?

Do you care? Do you ever find interesting blogs? If so, How?

I am always surprised at how many interesting sites are out there. For every ten blogs I visit, I find one or two that interest me. I almost always find inspiration.

I find them by:
- Clicking the "Next Blog" button (top right corner of the page)
- Visit the Recently Updated Blogs page (when it works)
- Visit sites that refer to mine (through Sitemeter in k-57 Blog's case)
- Vist Blogs of Interest (or Links) found on other blogs
- Click on one of my profile interests and view the profiles returned.
- Visit blog listing sites.
- Visit the blogs found in the profiles of people that comment on posts (yours, or any, blog)

Tonight I found an interesting twist or maybe I just learned another aspect of blogging. First, I noticed increased activity (a blip actually) here on this site for a day or so.
The reason was a referring blog: Spots of Blogs, A place to find Blogspots of interest. This site links back to here. That explains the increased activity and suggests another way to find blogs. Hence, that last method of finding sites.

The increased activity also suggests that people will find your blog and use it even if it's less than a week old as is the Spots of Blog site is today.

That should be encouraging to you.

I'm with you on this one. I read through blog after blog and can find little that interests me. Once there is a good way to sort the information and get a list of only the blogs that are relavent to certain topics, it will be more fun to read blogs.

For me, anyway.
