Hurricane Season begins June 1
One day prior to a re-run of last years' flurry of expensive storms, the early morning thunder showers stormed through the area. Apparently, the lack of El Nina activity in the Atlantic ocean is going to allow the storm building activity to be fairly active this year. We will make sure we collect protection early this year and attempt to plan better than last year.Although, how do you plan to be out of the way for the arrival of Emily when you really don't know which way she will be going when she gets near here?

Well, the wind is blowin' harder now
Fifty knots of there abouts,
There's white caps on the ocean.
And I'm watching for water spouts
It's time to close the shutters
